Careful Now...

I finally got this done! I would have posted it sooner, but because of college I wasn't able to finish it till today. It also didn't help that Macs in he Mac Lab at school have an older version of the Adobe programs. You see I redrew this in Illustrator and colored it in Photoshop, but for the shadowing I did it in Illustrator cuz it was easier and quicker to do. But when I tried to do it in the school's old version of Illustrator it freaking grouped the layer together damn it. (For those of you who don't know grouping laying in Illustrator is like merging all the layers in Photoshop.) And college kept me busy too.

Anyway as I said earlier I redrew and did the shadowing in Illustrator and the coloring and shine in Photoshop cuz the hand drawn and hand colored version was kind of bad. The lines of the draw version were a little shaky cuz the drawing pen that I had was kind of starting to run low on ink so I had to retrace some when I inked the drawing in. As for the coloring...well I colored it in marker and little bit of colored pencil cuz I didn't have a marker that was skin toned. Not to mention that I butchered the words when I wrote them down. So that's why I redid it digitally.

I borrowed my mom's boy friend's scanner (I and my mom are living at his place till the puppies are old enough to be sold cuz our landlord at our apartment complex would have thrown a fit if our dog had the puppies there).

I must say that it looks so much better now. So much more cleaner and with more detail. Which is good cuz I'm going to put it on a shirt. Though I'm not going to make a shirt just for myself. When I started to draw it out I told my friend how it was going to look and that I would put it on a shirt she said that she wanted one too cuz she's a big fan of my character/muse Strenuus. (I even showed her the finished draw version and she liked it.) So Katie you'll get your Strenuus t-shirt on Monday and if you thought that the drawn version was sexy then I bet that you'll find this digital version to be drop dead gorgeous.
